Do you want to put your skills to good use by helping charities solve real life problems?
Are you looking for potential cofounders to work on ideas that you are passionate about?
Founders Fit is organising a WorkIT (ideation & prototyping) session that brings together talented designers, technologists and business people to work on real life challenges faced by charities and social enterprises in UK.
Cross disciplinary teams of 4 to 6 people will be formed on the day. People from diverse backgrounds will have the opportunity to work in teams and solve specific challenges presented by charities. The solution to each challenge will require the teams to brainstorm ideas and achieve specific milestones. Lunch will be provided and you'll be have ample opportunities to meet other interesting people.
Date: 1 November 2012, 10am - 6pm
Venue: Google Campus, 4-5 Bonhill Street, London EC2A 4BX
Cost: £30 (lunch and coffee is included)
Who will participate?
Students, professionals and corporate escapees with diverse skills sets.
What is the event format?
Participants will have the opportunity to meet 5 interesting charities and understand the challenges they face. Brainstorm ideas and work in teams. Then present the results at the end of the day. Food and drinks will be provided and there will be ample time to network.
